Shower Gift

My good friend is having a baby boy this march, and her mother threw her a small baby shower on saturday. I made these blankets and banner for her baby boy Thomas. It was nice breaking out my sewing machine again. I'm inspired to sew lots of things now. Only if I had time...

Sock Monkey blanket

All week long while taking care of sick boys-- I've been working on this blanket for my friend who is having a baby boy in January. I had to get it done this weekend because she is only in town Sunday and Monday. It was fun trying to figure out how I was going to make a sock monkey out of material. It came out ok. I had a different vision of how it was going to look, but I guess it will have to do.
